FOSSIL EXPLORATION & NOAH’S ARK - A special trip for Mustard Seed that will be both spiritual and educational is being planned for Saturday, June 19th (or 26th). This trip will depend greatly on weather condition, thus, we are aiming for two dates. This trip will allow our children to understand how the dinosaurs & fossils fit into the biblical account of Noah’s flood. It will be a whole day trip to Canada (north of Sarnia) and it will be led by Gary Flat, a science teacher and bible preacher on Creation. If you would like your child to join (ages between 9-13), please let Pastor Ruel know. They will be accompanied by responsible adults from our church. Cost is $20/person. |

KALAYAAN PICNIC! - Our first involvement with the Filipino community’s annual picnic get-together will be on Saturday, June26th at Hamlich Park. This all day affair will allow us to mingle and befriend new people in the community. We need everyone’s help to create a link of friendship that will bring honor and glory to God. The call of the Gospel is for us to bring the “good news” to the farthest corner of the world. But we can’t all go as missionaries. Someone has to go in our place - local pastors in the region willing to put their lives on the line for Christ. Let us not forget them. Many have already died for Christ but the work continues. Let us be faithful to the faith promise we made for missions. Give generously for the Kingdom work. |
